Using the principle of UV spectral analysis, chemical pollution and turbidity in water can be detected at the same time. By reading the absorbance of OD260 and comparing it with the built-in background value (blank) of WaterEye, as long as the OD260 exceeds the set threshold, it means that there may be abnormal components in the water, which can be presumed to be organic chemical pollutants, or commonly known as environmental hormones, it mainly contains the chemical composition of microorganisms (ex. nucleic acid/protein), benzene ring, or/and conjugated double bonds. When the detection result is abnormal, the user can be advised to use a water filter or change the water source.
